Huge respect to the team at Ronin Volleyball. The Aurora/Markham area is truly fortunate to have the support and expertise of Courtney, Craig, and Matt Daykin — coaches who know how to spot the small but critical details that can make all the difference in a player’s development. Over the past year, our daughter has grown tremendously in both skill and confidence under their guidance. She’s found inspiration learning alongside high-performance youth athletes from surrounding clubs, all while having the freedom to make mistakes — and the expert feedback to correct them in meaningful ways. Small things that would go missed in footwork, arm swing with correct shoulder rotation and then setting with building high on-court awareness has been emphasized and even exercises are called out where they can try them at home. It’s so much more than just “getting reps in.” The clinics at Ronin go beyond mechanics; they help shape a young athlete’s mindset and passion for the game and the coaches remember the kids on repeat visits, knowing their strengths and weaknesses and what works in driving the message home. I am impressed by the time they put in to articulating progress and recapping what was learned, why it works!! As a parent that's hyper-critical to making sure my young athlete is extracting the most from the instruction and making sure she tries her best to not repeat mistakes but to learn from them, I can say that Ronin has even given me the reassurance with her continued results.

As a former volleyball player from grade 5 to University and a 9 man volleyball player across North America back in my younger years. I was extremely impressed on how the “house league” program was run, the coach was assertive and to the point and corrected players mistakes with just the right tone, allowing a good learning atmosphere. My daughter also said the program was a perfect balance of fun and learning. (The second coach), I see he takes the time to observe and correct the students with such patience, and at the end of each class, he asks the students individually what they think they need to improve and work on. I think these coaches should be recognized for their efforts of teaching the new generation of players for this great sport, as not all coaches are equal, and you have 2 great examples at Ronin. Thank you and keep up the great work.
