Frequently Asked Questions

  • Start with a High Performance 2-class trial for $50.

Our program is organized by levels. If you’re new to our program please book a level 1 class, as only staff pre-approved athletes are permitted into level 2.

If you believe your child is a more advanced player please email a short 20-30 second video to us to review at roninvball@gmail.com. Note that not all areas in Level 1 are covered in Level 2, thus we may invite your child to participate only in Level 1 if they are deficient in a key area, or a component of a skill.

  • There are a variety of class topics for you to choose from. The core skills in volleyball are serving and passing, which are covered the most in classes. Most want to learn spiking, which is also offered regularly. We pepper in other skills as the athletes progress over time.

Drills are focused on training reactions properly. It often is a slow drill and progression in intensity/difficulty to a level just before a technique is compromised. Repeat and add variations to improve athlete skill execution.

Generally speaking, we cover all the core technical skills training in Level 1. Level 2 is integration of the skill and more game oriented drills, especially strategic game play.

  • Our program is flexible, in that athletes are not required to participate in the same time slots/classes every week. Athletes can come as often as they like to the classes they are eligible for, their respective grade and level. For an athlete who want to get better quicker, we would recommend coming to 3+ classes a week.

Classes are usually 1 pass each to attend. Classes longer in duration may require more than 1 pass to attend. Please check for the “DOUBLE PASS” or “2 Pass notation” in the class title

There are three pass options: 8, 20, and 50 passes with expiry dates of 6, 12, and 24 months respectively. Only the 20 and 50 passes packages can be shared between family members.

  • It is usually the case that parents are able to stay and watch the practice depending on the location.

In Aurora, you are not permitted to enter the gym with outdoor shoes.
